Acupuncture

When it comes to fertility, acupuncture is thought to work in several ways from regulating menstrual cycles, increasing blood flow, balancing hormones, reducing stress to strengthening the immune system. Acupuncture can help regulate menstrual cycles and improve blood flow to the reproductive organs, including the ovaries and uterus which is important for ovulation, fertilization and implantation. By regulating the menstrual cycle and increasing the blood flow can improve the health of the eggs and sperm and may help increase the chances of successful conception. Acupuncture helps balance hormones to improve fertility in both men and women. Acupuncture can help reduce stress levels, promote relaxation and bring the body into balance and calming the parasympathetic nervous system, as stress can have a huge impact on fertility and conception. Acupuncture also helps to strengthen the immune system, which is important for overall health and well-being.

Laser Therapy

We are excited to offer this new treatment service. Low-level light therapy (LLLT), also known as photobiomodulation a unique modality that has a big impact of the mitochondria of the cells and by stimulating the ovaries, uterus and testes it can bump up the energy production of the follicles, eggs and sperm- this may result in higher potential of conception. Some studies have shown that low level light therapy can improve sperm quality and motility, as well as increase the number of follicles in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. Additionally, it has been suggested that low level light therapy may help to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in the reproductive system.
